Daily Minesweeper gives everyone the same board each day, generated from that day's date. Because the mines are identical for all players, you can compare times fairly with friends.
Is the daily board the same for everyone?
Yes. The layout is seeded from the calendar date, so every player gets exactly the same mines on a given day. Restarting the puzzle replays the same board.
Is the first click safe on the daily board?
Yes. The square you click first is guaranteed to be safe — if a mine happened to sit there, it is moved aside before the board opens.
When does a new daily puzzle appear?
A fresh board is generated for each calendar day. Come back tomorrow for a brand-new shared puzzle.
